The city released its new electric rates Thursday.
The city selected PPL Treasure State as the new electric supplier during a special meeting Oct. 24, but due to a confidentiality agreement did not release the bid rate for two weeks.
The City Commission opted for the five-year agreement with the first-year rate of $39.05 per megawatt hour. The price increases slightly each year to the five-year price of $41.20.
